Each Vecoplan® Shredding Vehicle includes the famous Vecoplan® Single-Shaft Paper Shredder, the versatile advancement in destruction that cross-shreds in one machine which can change shred size in about ten minutes via an easy-change screen and shreds everything from documents to bowling balls in a “dump and run” fashion. This advanced electric shredding system is designed for high throughput and dual-use service - on-site mobile and plant based stationary. While deployed in the mobile mode, equipment power is generated through a proprietary, compact PTO-driven generator component, thus eliminating the need for a central hydraulic power system. Vecoplan’s unique, patented QuickLink™ “Plug and Play” Docking Technology option also allows use as a stationary system when docked at, or in, your plant or purge site by shutting off the truck engine and plugging into 3-phase industrial plant power. At current energy and fuel prices, use in the stationary mode costs about 1/2 to 1/4 as much as operating with diesel. This environmentally-friendly electric system operates efficiently and quietly without fear of hydraulic spills and conserves fuel and energy in the process. |
